South Netherlandish Baroque Style Angel Brass Chandelier

This South Netherlandish Baroque Style Brass Angel Chandelier was made in at the turn of the twentieth century. This Flemish Baroque Chandelier is made of brass with the finest casting and chasing in the Old World Tradition. This South Netherlandish Chandelier is topped by an angel figure holding a Heraldry Crest, with central stem and main body divided with an upper and lower branch console. There are eight upper branches and ten lower branches on the stem with a console of eight elegant s-scroll cornucopia between the branch consoles. The Baroque Chandelier has a double sided Lion Mask lower finial with shaped pulled down handle reminiscent of a earlier age when candles where used. The eighteen branches and eight cornucopia have dovetailed ends and marked to fit into the corresponding sliding dovetail joint.

Rewired: rewired with UL Listed parts and porcelain sockets. Wear consistent with age and use. Minor losses. Minor fading.
