First Period French Empire Ormolu and Crystal Chandelier, Early 19th Century

This Regal First Period French Empire Ormolu and Crystal Six-Arm Chandelier was made in France in the Early Nineteenth Century. The Bronze Doré Castings are of the highest refined quality. The Doré Corona is surmounted with seven Acanthus Leaves, each pinned with a French crystal drop. The Corona suspends to the hand-pinned faceted oval crystal chain tent that is encompassed with hand pined French drops. The tent chains draw the eye down to the two tone console ring encompassed by Bronze Doré Laurel Leaf mounts with six fine casted Doré Candle Branchs protruding. The Doré Laurel Leaf ring suspends the hand-pinned faceted oval crystal chain forming the bottom basket and is finished with Doré Chased Ring suspending hand-pinned French Drops and a faceted Crystal Ball.

Rewired using UL Listed parts. Wear consistent with age and use. Minor losses. Minor fading.
