19th C. English Regency Waterfall Silver Plate & Crystal Chandelier / Gasolier

This Regal English Regency Waterfall Chandelier / Gasolier is Silver Plate & Crystal with Eight Arms and attributed to F. & C. Osler of Birmingham from the mid Nineteenth Century. The F. & C. Osler Gasolier has a Silver Plated Brass Stem and Seven Graduated Waterfall Rings for suspension of the ten inch jeweled & luster crystal prisms. The Central Sliver Plate Ring Console has eight gas arms that pass threw the console with each arm having individual gas cocks just before the crystal bobeches with each having ten jeweled & speared crystal prisms five inches long. The Silver Plated & Crystal Graduated Waterfall Rings are connected to a bottom Cage Frame and are closer together to give the appearance of a moving waterfall. This English Regency Waterfall Chandelier is finished with a Faceted Crystal Ball suspended by a hand-made brass chain. Three of the top Graduated Waterfall Rings are banded with crystal rosettes and spears.
Some of the crystal prisms have been replaced using antique crystals. Rewired: Rewired using UL Listed parts. Wear consistent with age and use. Minor losses. Minor fading. There are minor chips on about 10% of the crystal prisms but a not very noticeable with all the other crystal.
